President's Message

Hello and welcome to Alabama HMFA! As your 2011/2012 chapter President, I am eager to begin our work and honored that you have chosen me to lead the chapter during such a pivotal period in United States health care delivery. I have been active in the Health Care Financial Management Association for many years in several states and I believe the Alabama Chapter to be the finest. I know we have great potential to effect change and achieve positive outcomes for ourselves and the hospitals and patients we serve.

Looking ahead to the 2011-2012 year, I believe we have good things in our future. Your officers and I have been hard at work in order to provide you with the best, most relevant educational offerings possible. I appreciate all they have done so far and look forward to continuing our work together. From the Annual meeting in Sandestin to the Fall meeting in Birmingham to springtime education road shows, we promise to bring you the best organized meetings with the most diverse and appealing topics possible.

I urge you to get involved. As our eyes and ears, your involvement keeps the AL HFMA at the center of our Alabama health care systems by keeping us informed on pertinent issues facing our fellow financial professionals.
