Institutes
The Alabama Chapter continues to offer a variety of education to its members and non-members through a variety of quality Institutes during the year. Institutes, which are essentially two and a half day seminars, are offered by the Alabama Chapter twice a year (except for the years where we may partner with Region V or other chapters for shared Institutes).

iGEN
The iGen committee is focused on young, new members who would like to become more involved with HFMA. Our main objective is to help new members and young professionals gain their footing in HFMA. However, everyone is welcome to join. IGEN works to provide classes that are relevant to young healthcare professionals at HFMA events and provide opportunities to serve in all capacities in the chapter, from member opportunities to officers.
Educational Scholarship
The Alabama Chapter of HFMA invites students pursuing a career in healthcare financial management to apply for the $1,500.00 annual Alabama Chapter Educational Scholarship Award. Nominees for the scholarship are selected from among high school seniors, college students, and graduate students who have at least a 3.0 grade point average and who are currently enrolled in any accredited college or university in a financial field who expect to enter the healthcare financial management industry.
