Jerry is a graduate of Samford University school of Business in Birmingham, Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant. He began his career with Price Waterhouse initially in audit then as a tax consultant. His career in health care began with a Skilled Nursing Facility chain of 4 facilities that grew to 25 facilities in two states as Controller then Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure in Skilled Nursing he developed several ancillary service companies such as a Medical Supply Company, Independent Clinical Reference Lab, Physician management company and Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapy contractor serving on the boards of each entity.
Jerry served as Vice President, Revenue Cycle for the St. Vincent Health System managing Central Scheduling, Patient Access, Central Business Office, Health Information Management, Contracting and Charge Master from 2000 to 2009. He presently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Proxsys, LLC, a Technology Enabled Service provider of Pre Service Revenue Cycle Services based in Birmingham, Alabama. Jerry completed a two year Fellowship with the Health Care Advisory Board and in January, 2005 was named a Fellow of the Advisory Board. He has served on various civic boards. |
